Last Saturday, we had over 229 families participate in our third Chinatown Fair Foods event!
We are very grateful to help our community, and we were fortunate enough to be interviewed by Sinovision Chinese TV Network, as well as have City Counselor Ed Flynn come out to support the event.
A thank you to the volunteers and Event Partners: HPHC, Fair Foods Inc., Chinatown
Resident Association, Father Joseph Zhang of St. James Church; City Council – Ed Flynn, Boston Latin School and CMS Board members
Chinatown Main Street (CMS) and Fair Foods have set up the "$2 a bag of groceries" program to provide healthy food to Chinatown residents suffering food insecurity. Each bag consists of ten pounds of fresh produces such as potatoes, onion, carrots, spring vegetables, along with loaves of bread.
Please spread the work to any families you know who may be interested in this program, and we hope to see you all at our next event on Saturday, 1/30/2021.
